How to use the example solos?

STEP 1. Look for a video for your instrument. If your instrument is not available, choose an instrument in the same key as your instrument. For example, if you play guitar, you can play along with the flute, because they both play in the key of C.

STEP 2. Download the sheet music of the Easy version if you are not so experienced. Choose the Intermediate solo if your sight reading is good. 

STEP 3. Play the written out example solo along with the video. Try to copy the pro player as close as possible. In this way, you il get the right feel.

STEP 4. Memorize the parts of the example solo you like and learn them by heart.

STEP 5. Play your favorite parts in your own improvisations over this song. Play it literally and on the same chord progression, like ‘copy’ and ‘paste’ on your computer. This way you incorporate parts of the example solo into your own style.
